Liquid Bridge Fund (‘LBF’) is company registered in South Africa in terms of the Companies Act No 71 of 2008, as amended. LBF is a licensed and authorized by the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act, as amended (FSP number: 53058).

Peer-to-Peer (“P2P”) bridging is a process where your funds are utilized for Bridging Finance purposes and solely for those purposes. This means that your funds are used purchase the rights to proceeds of sale of a seller (investing in bridging finance transactions), giving you exposure to the risk in, and reward in the bridging finance transaction.

We are regulated and authorised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for the purpose of holding and administering your funds in accordance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act), which stipulates specific minimum measures and procedures we need to have in place when holding client assets. P2P Bridging and Bridging Finance is not regulated in terms of the FAIS Act.

You shall have no access to the Bridging Finance customers or their respective agents, and the customers or their respective agents shall have no access to you in relation to this agreement.

We treat all clients (you) fairly and equally. Consequently, all participating clients shall have the same risk in, and reward from Bridging finance Activities aggregate to their total commitment.

We do not provide any advice, nor do we make any recommendations to our clients. For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided by us through any form of communication does not constitute financial advice or recommendation as defined under the FAIS Act. If you have any questions on whether investing in bridging finance is a suitable investment or any concerns, you should obtain appropriate independent advice. The rate which we pay you as our client (referred to as ‘BAR’ – Bridging Activity Return) is derived from the Discounting rate which we charge our Bridging Finance customers. The BAR is determined by us and agreed on by you. Clients will be notified of any changes in relation to the BAR at least 48 hours before such changes come into effect, any such changes shall only apply to transactions you participate in after the change.

All finance applications are approved or declined in accordance with our Risk Management Policy that can be found on this Website under "Legal Disclosures. The risk assessment we conduct is done to minimize and mitigate all risks we foresee and only approve applications we deem to carry minimal risk in accordance with our Risk Management Policy and tools thereof and does not guarantee the elimination of risk. For example: we cannot prevent a person from breaching a contract, we can only have measures in place to mitigate such breaches.

Liquid Bridge Fund is a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) subject to and in compliance with the FSCA's regulatory regime of South African CASPs.

Liquid Bridge Fund is an authorized Credit Representative of Borro Money (Pty) Ltd, a licensed credit provider (NCRCP14706).
